Press: EU III – new screens and feature insight

New York, USA (April 27, 2006) – Europa Universalis III, Paradox Interactive’s big 2007 release, delves deeply into the areas of exploration, trade, warfare and diplomacy. This soon-to-be classic PC Strategy title will be characterized by immense depth and historical content that charge its challenging gameplay with incredible replayability value. The franchise has many fans, and producer Johan Andersson has been sharing a few insights on the title’s new features on the Paradox forums. The newly released screenshots give hints on several of the new features, take the court for instance: "The court is a new concept specifically designed for EU III, giving players a greater flexibility in how they mold their countries. Players can have up to 3 advisors in their court at one time, and they provide bonuses depending on their skill and category. Advisors that are not currently employed by the country of origin, may be employed by anyone else belonging to the same technology group." Rush for Berlin – Satchel Dogs of War New York, USA (April 28, 2006) – Paradox Interactive and Stormregion proudly present detailed information about the special skills of the regular soldiers, war dogs and other animals in their new WWII-RTS Rush for Berlin. "During WWII, five War Dog Reception and Training Centers were operated by the Quartermaster Corps" (war-dogs.com). Now the "dogs of war" are returning in Rush for Berlin. Special Infantry Skills In addition to the officers, the regular infantry soldiers in Rush for Berlin are of vital to players also. Of course, each nation has standard infantry units (such as the sniper, rifleman, sapper, medic, flamethrower or mortar infantry), but depending on the nation, the player will also control unique units like armoured Russian shock infantry with a satchel dog, the German Panzergrenadier or the Fallschirmjäger (German paratrooper). Press: Paradox Interactive presents new download portal for PC games

New York, USA (May 2, 2006) – Fast-growing publisher Paradox Interactive announced today a new initiative to meet the demands for online distribution and to further open up the market for strategy gamers.  Gamersgate.net is an online portal seeking to facilitate the download of PC games, with a primary focus on strategy titles.
