CDG 31 – German Glider Assault Crete, 1941

By Armchair General

German Glider Assualt Crete, 1941

Your fallschirmjaegers must seize Royal Air Force airfields on Crete that Britain could use to harass the southern flank of the Fuhrer‘s planned invasion of the Soviet Union. You must seize your objectives quickly, with minimal losses, because the Fuhrer insists this action cannot be permitted to delay the invasion of the USSR.

Will you concentrate your troops, landing on a single airfield or disperse them to seize several objectives simultaneously, using the element of surprise to limit the enemy’s ability to respond? Or do you have something else in mind?
