I began to feel a bit timesick as I jumped yet further forward to the Napoleonic era, and the middle of a bloody battle complete with artillery and cavalry charges! Yes, the French were fighting the English again (we’re the ones in the red).
The colours flew in the breeze as the battle lines were drawn. Whilst to the rear, the guns were readied.

Musketeers prepared to rain fire down upon their enemies as the main artillery opened up!
Seeing their ranks devastated by long-range artillery fire, the French line charges the British.
But they are seen off by heavy musket-fire and regroup behind their Cavalrymen.
