Hot War, Cold War – Forum Discussions

By Jason St. Just

I will leave the final word to our most frequent visitors of the Cold War forum, to explain why it is worth YOUR visit and why this complex but important period of our history is worth looking into:

Forum member Billscottmorri is especially interested in the political aspect of this international struggle. He is amazed at the fact that, although it came close to a war on several occasions, it never did break out. Both rivals seemed to settle with simple teeth grinding instead. It is his opinion that this conflict is worth the study because it formed the “bridge” between the Second World War and the world today.

Exorcist believes this subject to be of importance because it covers a period of 40 years and due to its influence worldwide should not be neglected. He is convinced that only a slight alteration of fate in these years could’ve resulted in a grim conflict much more perilous than WW2. “Nuclear weapons could have been used to vaporize nearly half the life on earth…”

No period of history is neglected at ACG. We are proud to announce that there is something for everyone.

  1. Would it be possible to feature some of my Cold War furniture to your readers. It is on my Facebook page St.Loues Designs on Facebook. There are three portable tables; US/CCCP/Cuba and a CCCP desk called the ‘Sputnik’

    Thank you
