I served with the 325th Glider Infantry Regt 82nd Airborne Division during Operation Market Garden in 1944. Why don't you give more copy to the WW II glider operations.

Read MoreI compliment you on your informative and entertaining magazine. Your "Best of WWII" article in the September 2005 issue is a good example. Such an article is quite entertaining because it will certainly create discussion among your readers, prompting them to speak out as to why certain WWII notables did or did not make your list.
Read MoreI thoroughly enjoyed your most recent issue, especially the articles on WWII, including "The Best of WWII". I had only one minor quibble with that article, the comment that the DeHavilland Mosquito was used on many special missions, including the "Dambusters Raid".
Read MoreI found the article by Mr. Ludan to be very accurate and factual. Maybe if we keep up this type of forum we can save history as it was instead of the way some folks think we should see it.
Read MoreI just read the March 2005 issue of Armchair General, and have a few comments on the "More D.C. Destinations" article in Dispatches. The World War II Memorial is a component of the National Mall and Memorial Parks, a unit of the National Park Service. It's official name is "World War II Memorial", without the "National" in front of it. The "National" was used for fund-raising purposes only, to bring attention to the fact that this would be a true national memorial.
Read MoreI can't stop reading this magazine. It's that good. I'm on vacation and every part of the magazine is interesting. I'm wearing it out. Guys, anyway to purchase back issues? I'm glad one of my buddies gave me a free copy from a gaming convention to check out. Do you take suggestions for stuff to have in your great magazine?

Read MoreIn your latest issue, which I await eagerly every month, you have an article about SFC Paul Smith, MOH. Slight error though. SFC Smith was mounted on an M113 APC while using the .50 HMG against the enemy, not an M2 Bradley. The M2/3 Bradley series vehicle does not mount a .50, but a 7.62 coax mg.

Read MoreLast year I picked up your May 2004 issue on the D-Day invasion. I kept it for a resource if I ever had a chance to visit the battlefields. I am currently over in France and the magazine came with me, what great maps and stories. I attached a picture of me in front of the 1st US Infantry Division Monument overlooking Omaha Beach holding the Armchair General tour map.

Read MoreI read with interest your article “Napoleon: A champion of Human Rights†(no author) in the July 2005 edition of Armchair General. It was my understanding that the only knowledge of the proclamation was the publication of the contents in a Paris newspaper/magazine. Do you know if there is a copy of the proclamation in existence?

Read MoreI found it odd that you had an article regarding Napoleon being poisoned. There is just as much evidence to suggest he was not poisoned as was. I doubt that anyone can conclusively state how Napoleon died.
Read MoreWOW! What a great magazine. I picked up my first copy of Armchair General just two (2) days ago. It was the issue with Napoleon on the cover. What a great commanding General. From cover to cover I was enthralled.
