Uncertain Leadership, a Nuclear Iran, and a Drone Strike’s Fallout

By Armchair General

Colonel (ret) John Antal, in his latest FLASHPOINTS analysis, says the lack of American leadership remains the greatest threat to American security at this time, and Iran’s nuclear program is Number 2. Taking out Meshud “was a critical blow against terrorism.” But it came just as Pakistan’s government was scheduled to begin new peace talks with the Pakistani Taliban, the Taliban has sworn vengeance, and “the 2nd and 3rd order effects of the timing of this attack will play out in months ahead and are cause for concern.”
