8th Mechanised Corps

As different sources gives different data, I made several tables
Later I hope to give structure of this Mechanised Corps. Now only brief info is available here

*1 - In the 24th Tank Regiment/12th TD there was a battalion of flame thrower tanks. By staff it had 54 vehicles. Number 60 was estimated from resulting cell. In the book corresponding cell was empty. According to [8] overall amount of flame thrower tanks in the corps was 50.

*2 - 77 T-26 equipped with radio station, 173 line T-26, 10 two-turreted T-26 and two SU-5.

*3 - All T-37.

*4 - The 34th TD also had 48 T-35 tanks (6 out of them needed repair). I don't know how they are included in this table in original source.

*5 - including 2 KV-2 (data of A.Isaev. [1] ). Also following other tables I can't exclude variant when there were 69 KV-1+2 KV-2

*6 - including 14 BT-2s and 109 BT-5 [1]

upStrength of the 8th Mechanised Corps ~on July 2 [6] NEW

12th Tank Division + 7th Motorised Division included:

19000 men; 207 tanks (43 KV, 31 T-34, 69 BT-7, 57 T-26, 7 T-40); 21 armored cars.

 

On July 5 134 tanks and 5 tractors were sent to Kharkov plant in repair.
