Press: Matrix to publish Puresim Baseball 2007

Staten Island , NY , May 5 th , 2006 Matrix Games ( www.matrixgames.com ) is pleased to announce that the next game in the PureSim series, PureSim Baseball 2007, will be published by Matrix Games.  PureSim is noted to be one of the top baseball simulations on the market, with unparalleled accuracy and an extraordinary number of options.

The 2007 version will have several improvements over last years’ model, including a massive overhaul of statistical tracking.  PureSim Baseball 2007 will use an automatically generated almanac containing thousands of pages of detailed stats on players and team history.  It is directly integrated into the game and uses standard HTML, allowing it to be published onto the web as well.  That isn’t all that is new, not by a 500 ft homer.  The 2007 edition will also contain improved graphics, new sounds, animated ball flight, multiple levels of minors (A, AA, AAA), faster simulation speed, improved AI, improved templates for faster association creation, and an improved play by play.
