PR: Pixel Mine Honors United States Military With Lifetime Discount

Armchair General

AUSTIN, TX, NOV 12 – In honor of Veteran’s Day, Pixel Mine announced today that it will be offering active United States military personnel and military veterans up to a 20% discount on all items purchased from the Pixel Mine store. New games and in-game content such as maps, character classes, weapons, and other powerups can be bought from the store with Pixel Mine tokens.

Michael Songy, Chief Technology Officer at Pixel Mine Games, whose brother serves in the U.S. Army, says, “We are proud to support the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. This is our way of saying thanks to a group of people that have dedicated themselves to serving our country.”

“Fireteam Reloaded is all about teamwork and cooperation. Those same attributes are what make our military the best in the world,” says Bill Money, the Chief Creative Officer at Pixel Mine.

The discount will automatically apply to accounts that use a valid military email address. Those that qualify for this discount will see lower prices on store items for Fireteam Reloaded and future Pixel Mine Games. The Pixel Mine store, which will go live with the release of Fireteam Reloaded in late Q4 2007, is based on tokens which users can trade with others or spend inside the store.

Pixel Mine will be starting the closed Beta for Fireteam Reloaded on Monday, November 12. Those interested in testing the game may apply through the Beta Signup page on the Pixel Mine Games web site.
