Los Angeles, CA – February 13, 2008 – The Genos are coming! The Genos are coming! Sierra Online has released Commanders: Attack of the Genosâ„¢, a gripping turn-based strategy game providing entertaining head-to-head warfare, for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The Commanders: Attack of the Genos game challenges players to strategically place their varied combat units on the field of battle and execute calculated attacks to save the world from the surprise assault of the genetically enhanced humans known as the Genos.
“Players will enjoy watching the action and story unfold in this engaging game that will make everyone want to be a strategy gamer,” said Nicole Perez, vice president of marketing, Sierra Online. “The clever look and game design of Commanders: Attack of the Genos brings a compelling experience to Xbox LIVE Arcade.”
{default}Featuring a 1930’s art deco look and feel, Commanders: Attack of the Genos puts players in control of one of eight commanders who must tactically place and direct 15 specialized combat units to crush the enemies’ defenses and capture their land and resources. Each of the units, ranging from daring scouts to robust tanks to soaring air units, have distinctive strengths and weaknesses when battling different types of enemies. Once a unit is placed on the terrain, players will formulate a strategy and during their turn determine whether to move their units into more favorable positions, attack the enemies or do both. Players can choose to challenge the computer AI in a 15-mission campaign across three different landscapes or battle up to three friends locally or online in four intense multiplayer modes – Versus, Team Play, Player vs. CPU or same-system Skirmish.
The Commanders: Attack of the Genos game is rated E10+ and is available on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft for 800 Microsoft points. For more information visit www.commandersattackofthegenos.com.
