Armchair General has partnered with The Map as History, a company that produces outstanding animated maps with accompanying narration. Each month, a link to one of their animated maps will be featured on the ACG site.

This month’s map explores World War II’s Battle of the Atlantic. The map displays in animated fashion Britain’s crucial supply routes, German U-boat activity, and the establishment of air bases to reduce the "black hole" of the Atlantic in which submarines could hide.
