Facts About WWII Tanks You May Not Know
Know which tank fought in eight different wars between the mid-1930s and mid-1940s? Ever seen a flying tank?
These and more are part of “15 Facts About World War 2 Tanks You Probably Didn’t Know” on the A Day in a Tank site. We don’t necessarily agree with the article on all points, but you’ve got to love people who describe being stuck in a tank that can move and communicate but can’t shoot as “just sitting inside an oversized portable radio.”

By the way, if you like tanks (and who doesn’t, except the infantry who have to face them), check out ACG‘s partner site Achtung Panzer for everything you’ll ever want to know about German armor of WWII.
Both of these sites appear to be down.
I have made a report to Tech Support and we’ll see if they can fix this. It appears to be an error on our side as the sites can still be reached using a web browser. Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention.
The problem has been fixed. AchtungPanzer is still online but the other site appears to have disappeared in to the internet Twilight Zone.
