I love your magazine. However, your Jan 06 article on Historic Battleships Open To Visitors left out the mighty USS North Carolina docked in Wilmington, NC. Please mention her in your next issue.

In the December/January issue, in the article on battleships on display you omitted a very important one. The USS North Carolina (BB-55) on display in Wilmington, NC(www.battleshipnc.com). I have visited this ship on numerous occasions and have always found something new.

While reading the article about the Battleships on Display for visitors, throughout the Nation, I noticed one that you missed.
USS North Carolina "The Showboat".
{default}She was donated to the people of North Carolina for purpose of honoring all those who served during WWII.
She is berthed at Wilmington NC, and has many shows throughout the year as well as tours about her decks. I remember being about 14 when my parents and I while on a summer trip to Florida, stopped and visited. It was, to say the least, a very inspiring time that I still carry with me today.
