Storm Over the Pacific Patched And Discounted

Matrix Games  and Wastelands Interactive have released a patch and announced a special sale for their Pacific-theater grand strategy game, Storm over the Pacific. For a limited time only, Storm over the Pacific will be on sale for $29.99 for the digital download version and $39.99 for the boxed version – a discount of $20 off the regular price.

The patch is a comprehensive update bringing the game to version 1.05.  It has a number of bug fixes and improvements including an improved PBEM system that allows players to automate decisions in events, added penalties for skipping too many islands in Pacific Campaign, the Carrier Air Strike range on land and air units is now presented and working correctly, and more.

David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said “Storm over the Pacific has received plenty of improvements since its release and this update continues that great support. Add on the new sale to make it easier to jump on board and this is a great time to take a look at Storm over the Pacific!”

Storm over the Pacific depicts the epic conflict between Japan and the United States during World War II.  Players choose from 26 available countries with historically accurate orders of battle including land, sea and air units and leaders.

The patch may be found here. It is comprehensive and will bring all previous versions of Storm over the Pacific to version 1.05. Get more information on Storm over the Pacific from its official product page.
