PR: New Screens and In-Game Explanation For Combat Mission: Shock Force
New screens and in-game explanation Combat Mission: Shock Force
New York, USA (March 23, 2007) – Paradox Interactive and Battlefront released a series of new screens today for their eagerly awaited modern combat war simulation Combat Mission: Shock Force.
Download screens or view at this Screenshot Gallery.
{default}The screens will illustrate among other things:
– The new Victory condition layout, which are elaborately explained in the official CM:SF blog (insert link)
– The main feature added is the new "flavor objects" which will simulate actual environments more accurately. Dozens of "flavor objects" can be placed on the map and the screens have been taken to show some of the objects that can be encountered in a typical Village setting. The selection includes anything from streetlights, crates, tires, to fancier things like ATM machines and Air Condition units for the more urban settings. (please note that not all types are shown in the screens)
– The diligent observer will be able to note new animations at work about midway through the screens. The new animations are much "stronger" and convey a strong feeling of action.
Combat Mission: Shock Force is set for a worldwide release this summer.
